Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS

Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS The ACLS AHA course is a standardised, certified and internationally recognised advanced cardiovascular life support course. With reference to Basic Life Support (BLS), this highly practical course covers all the necessary problem areas. The course is designed for professional assistants involved in the advanced emergency medical care of patients. In preparation for the course, all participants will receive the official American Heart Association (AHA) course book and an access code to a mandatory e-learning module including a self-assessment test.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS

The PALS Provider Course is an internationally recognised, standardised and certified training course in paediatric emergency care. The two-day course is designed for all professionals involved in the advanced care of paediatric emergency patients. The highly practical course discusses and treats the most common respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies in children and infants. In preparation for the course, all participants will receive the official American Heart Association (AHA) course book and access to an AHA online preparation course.

First aider level 1 IVR + refresher

The basic course for first aiders

The First Aider Level 1 IVR course will teach you the basics of immediate life-saving measures in emergency situations, including the BLS-AED. It will enable you to provide first aid in everyday life, at work or in your leisure time. The course also includes the complete BLS-AED-SRC course and the mandatory first aid course for driving licence applicants..

Among other things:

First aider level 2 IVR + refresher

Training and refresher courses for first aiders (company paramedics, first responders, fire brigades, etc.) No longer helpless in a medical emergency? In Level 2 IVR you will deepen and broaden your knowledge of first aid measures, illnesses or physical injuries following an accident. Review basic knowledge, safety and hygiene measures.

You will learn, among other things:

  • Review of basic first aid knowledge level 1 IVR

  • Patient assessment using the xABCDE and AVPU scheme

  • First aid for responsive, unconscious or lifeless patients

  • Use of new materials in practical training (tourniquet, eye wash)

First aider level 3 IVR + refresher

Suitable for people who are involved in emergency services on a full or part-time basis (e.g. company paramedics, first responders) and who want to acquire a broad basic knowledge and comprehensive skills in first aid and prevention.

You will learn, among other things:

  • Assisting the paramedic with patient care

  • Administer and handle medication

  • Writing an operation log and handover report to the ambulance service

BLS AED Instructor

The BLS-AED-SRC instructor course is organised according to the guidelines of the SRC (Swiss Resuscitation Council). The course is taught by experienced professionals and lecturers from the healthcare sector.
